Dear Families,
As summer seems to have (finally) arrived, we are putting in a few measures to help keep your child as comfortable as possible at school.
The following are optional:
- Children may wear PE kit on any (or every day) for the rest of term if this will be more comfortable for them.
- Children wearing school uniform will not be required to wear a tie or a jumper.
The following are advisable:
- Please make sure that your child has suncream/sun hat on days when the weather is likely to be hot.
- Discuss with your class teacher if your child has any underlying conditions that might mean that they need to be more careful in warm weather.
The following is compulsory:
- Your child must have a water bottle every day.
I suspect the weather will change a lot over the next month, but the above will remain in place until the end of term. We do not want to keep changing the rules based on the weather every few days.
Please note, that for school trips, a dress code will be set. This is to help ensure that pupils are easily and quickly identifiable.
